Sunday 20th February 2022 is an auspicious date in the calendar for the temple and the community. On this day will be held the 645th Gurpurb (or birth anniversary) of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji. It is a day when the whole community can get together and pay respects to Guru Ravidass, who was a great Indian mystic, philosopher, Saint and social reformer from the 15th Century.
The Gurpurb will be held at Shri Guru Ravidass Community Centre at 372-379 Dudley Road, Blakenhall, Wolverhampton, WV2 3AY. The celebration will take place between 10am to 6pm. We encourage all members of the community to come and show their respects to Shri Guru Ravidass Ji who helped drive so much positive change for us.
